The grape harvest takes place each year in autumn, generally towards the end of September.
It lasts ten days, according to the climatic conditions and number of grape pickers.
Generally, the team can vary from 10 persons during the week with more than 25 people during the weekends, including 2 to 3 carriers.
The team is made up of students, neighbours, friends, members of the family...
Usually the team is made up of regular grape pickers, but it is still possible to join the team by asking well in advance.

   
Traditionnally, the grapes are always hand picked.

This method guarantees the best quality wine :
Picked by hand, the grapes remain perfectly unaltered up to their transformation.
The pickers can also choose the ripest grapes.

Gathering grapes is a hard job which demands precision and concentration
   

Solidarity has always been a keyword between the grape pickers
who help each other when the need arises.

   

 

Whatever happens the atmosphere is always excellent !!
The Fifties showed already a cordial and well knit team...

...which has kept the same user-friendliness in 1970
